Looks like pastel bento :/

Perhaps use these colors:
WS4 for base, RAL 240 50 25 for legends
maybe change all the mods to RAL 240 50 25 too while you're at it, and use pantone 19-03272
 for the mod legends.
then use 19-03272 for accents

You put great work in to this set, congrats! But I don't believe it is original and is basically just pastel bento like others have said... I would probably just rework the colors to be more original. The concept is great though!

When the images loaded, I IMMEDIATELY thought "bento." That's not good. (Although the mod colors are reversed.) I do appreciate the amount of work that you put into this IC, though. I'm sure frozen yogurt can come in many other colors

edit: just wanted to add that, GMK 3C and TU1 really don't have all that much similarity to GMK Bento's custom colors, I don't get what people are all worked up about

Just some little kitting things:

- r2 1.5u blank isn't necessary.
- some of your numpad keys have sublegends, whereas others don't. I'd recommend you get rid of the sublegends given how it's an icon set for a cleaner look.
- ne alpha coloured spacebar
- the r4 1.5u super seems somewhat out of place - I'd either remove it, or get another and change both legends to 'Meta' to be in line with your other bottom row mods

I'm also a big fan of the colours. Just unfortunate that there's been a set with similar colours run in the past.

But I reckon a few tweaks to maybe the kits and the colors to kinda affirm its personality would do the trick though !

This is super cute and stands apart from the other set folks are mentioning. A switch in this color scheme would be super cute too. I don’t have any feedback on the kit or the colors as I like them both.

The deskpads I think look a bit too geometric. Perhaps offsetting every even row by half the distance as the first row or something like that. The deskpad is already square, so I think the patterning should be offset and not also square.

EDIT: thinking out loud here; if all goes well, Novelkeys could potentially be an interested (NA) vendor as the soft serve theme fits the NK candy and sweets aesthetic.

While there are comparisons that can be made to Bento, I think this looks better based on renders.

Base kit is pretty stacked which is nice.

Yeah this. It's not a deal breaker to me because I have many L9 spacebars from other sets but I imagine other people would care.

The irony is that all of the renders have the white spacebar.

I will try to take better pictures in the morning. Personally, I think TU1, L9 and 3C are all dirty-ish colors.


WS1, V4 and some pink that is a little darker than Noel pink might be a better fit for the theme (also better match for the colors in the render).

I like the colors and especially the mats. I feel like the strawberry is a little odd though, the circle seems so strange and it honestly took me a while to realize it wasn't an apple
