How many switch you can tell just by hearing it sound?

to me it only one 1 : the Blue Cherry MX (and it clone - although very difficult to tell if it is Cherry or clone just by sound)

I guess the Silence switch sound 90% the same and cannot to be told just by hearing?

It really depends on the microphone and recording setup. I can recognise a fair few boards though - I've been able to tell whether someone was using Cherry MX Blue or clone blues, for example. The AT101 is also fairly recogniseable.

I mean in Real-Life, is it easier to recognize than in a record video?

About 1 or 2.

But again, many of the keyboards i work with are membrane

A lot of things besides the switches themselves can affect sound: Keycaps, plate material, the case itself, lubing, etc.  So just going by sound can be pretty ambiguous.

Though there are still distinctive characteristics of some switches.  Like the double click of clickbar switches.

Five years ago -- most.  There were so few mainstream switches kicking around.

These days, practically 0. Probably Topre if you count that as a switch.

i think it's pretty hard to define a switch sounds. But mostly i can distinguish if something uses cherry switches or clones. And if they are Linear or Tactile.

People can always recognize clicky however

I can recognize blues, greens, and kailh Box navies and jades from sound, and bucking springs from either the model M or F.

Linears all sound the same to me, unless they are silenced, I can't tell one tactile from another.
