Hi everyone,
i stumbled upon your community while upgrading my PC-peripherals. I've been typing on a Das Keyboard Model S (Cherry MX Blue) for the last 5 years or so and started looking for a replacement a couple of weeks back. Because i wanted to use my deskspace a bit more efficiently, I got interested in smaller keyboards and found this review of the CandyBar Premium.
I was impressed with its aesthetics and liked the prospect of building a keyboard on my own. I was also intrigued to find out that there presumably was something like an "enthusiast mechanical keyboard community". After that my little keyboard world exploded. I really wasn't aware what awesome (and expensive!) things are out there

Luckily I found this video, which helped me a lot to understand this all a bit better and level out the hype i was experiencing.
Shoutouts to Blacksimon - the real talk is much appreciated, especially for pointing out the pitfalls when starting out. Very cool. "Watch and learn" is sound advice. Thanks!

Cheers, Chris
