Is this a backlit keyboard thats not Deck and its mechanical? Gaming with blue switches? Shouldn't someone tell em to switch to brown? Otherwise seems cool..better looking then the deck perhaps..

Also..

This a scissor key keyboard? I was thinking about getting something backlit for night use..that's why I am looking at all these backlit keyboards.

I was thinking about the irocks but I like blue better then orange..

Also is the Lycosa a scissor keyboard?

I am sure someone else mentioned this keyboard a few weeks ago. Only a little more expensive than a DAS or Filco plus illuminated keys, audio pass through, spare keys and a key puller, multimedia keys and a USB hub. Wow just like a souped up DAS and it looks nicer!

Wonder if they have the extra USB power connection the same as the DAS because there won’t be much power left for anything else. The DAS had that initial problem – peripherals pulling too much power from the single 500mA connection.

One can game on cherry blues and some RTS gamers in particular prefer cherry blues.

I know there's a thread around here about that board from Fentek.  The Fentek keyboard, looks like the iOne Xarmor U9BL, but the links from this thread aren't good enough now for me to be sure.  It is that board, here's more information.

I know that board you linked to on amazon has 5 stars, but if you look at the white version it has 2!  More importantly it is five stars of "It looks pretty, and serves" reviews.  If it is a good board, you'll see things like it feel great to type on, this thing is a tank, etc.

Lycosa is a cheap backlit rubber dome.

If you're willing to consider the Fentek board, the Déck boards aren't that much more and you have thirty days to return for refund if you don't like it.  Additionally, if you're specifically interested in a compact board, the Déck 82 is smaller and with blue LEDs.

Ultimately, I didn't see paying for lights, when I'm touch typist, just because I like the look, so I got a Filco, but I understand if you actually hunt and peck.

Red TG3 I meant to link to.  Made by the people that make Deck.  You can find it cheaper than Decks, used on ebay, etc.

Unfortunately, the Logitech Illuminated scissors is white LEDs only, has some gaming issues (2KRO) and definitely has durability issues.  The quality of the G110 & up rubber domes also leaves much to be desired.
