Epomaker GK68XS Opinions and Comparisons
« on: Sat, 06 February 2021, 13:02:29 »
So I've been looking for a 65% bluetooth, hot-swappable, RGB keeb for a few days now. I happened to stumble upon the Epomaker GK68XS and I think this might be the one. But I have a few questions before I officially pull the trigger.

1. Is it a good quality keeb overall and are there better alternatives with the same feature set? I dont mind going up in price at all. I mainly care about the board being hot-swappable, having RGB, bluetooth, and the case being aluminum.

2. I also saw the drop alt as another really good option but the bluetooth that the Epomaker GK68XS comes with appeals to me much more.

3. Is the PCB compatible with other aluminum cases such as the Tofu65. I am not a fan of the case design at all and am hoping I can move it to another case.

4. Also I know I'm emphasizing bluetooth a fair bit here but what are all of your favorite usb-c cables? I'm just curious since ill probably get one anyways.

5. Lastly, anything in particular I should know about this board?

I dont have an answer to most of your questions but why not just get a the DZ65RGB kit?
I've seen the GK68XS going for $100, the tufo case alone is $125 ($110 currently) so getting the DZ65RGB kit for $185 will be much better deal for you if you're seeking a 65% with the tufo case.
