Late production Greenock-made example, complete with half-assed Ctrl/Act key. Should have a beep speaker.

Good deal. These late-era versions are better than the 1391401, IMO.

That spacebar looks slightly ajar.

EDIT: $17.05 in shipping. Not such a good deal after all.

In what way?

This is basically a 1391401, except intended for use with the RS/6000 instead of PS/2. It has the removable cable, two part keycaps and original-style case associated with the 1391401.

He is selling this one as a non-refurbished Model.

Which is slightly worrying given that this is a relatively interesting model.

Looks like you can reduce the shipping a bit by switching from UPS Priority Mail to UPS Parcel Post.

I just bought one of his refurbed 1401's.  Is Brian an upstanding guy?  I became slightly concerned after I completed the transaction because the label on the pic had a serial number that is different than the one listed on the stat sheet...I emailed him and he says he will look at it tomorrow.
His feedback is very good so I am not really worried.
I just hope the one I get is the one pictured.

I have a Ctrl/Acct key Model M, it has a speaker, was made by Lexmark and was heavy IIRC.  It also had no label on the front at all.  But it was PC compatible.

EDIT: It's a 1399240
