So I have had this KBDfans keycap set for a while now and haven't been able to find a home for them.
I bought them when I was building my first custom which was a TM680. They looked good on there but I wasn't sold and ended up finding some cheaper caps that looked better with the board.
Then I bought a Tofu65 and tried them out there. They looked great. And I was happy with the photo. But I ended up finding caps that looked even better on that board so they eventually got swapped out.
Next I bought a 5 Degree case to have an aluminum 60% option. Again, it looked good. But I knew it could look better.
And then... FINALLY. I bought this case intending to maybe throw GMK Belafonte in there. But I decided to test these caps while I waited and well... they are perfect. I'll have to find a new board for GMK Belafonte. Maybe another acrylic board since I doubt Ill be able to really match that blue tone. But this... this is perfect. NPKC 60% plastic case for $5. Home is a home. Doesnt matter how luxurious it is. All that matters is you fit.
So this is my final product with these caps and I am very happy with the outcome. Testing these caps on 3 boards and failing was worth it for this.
