That actually sucks as an acronym. How about "WDIJWMO" (what did I just waste money on)? Anyway:

Weird switch is weird

Keycaps are double shot, and seem MX compatible... hopefully.

Delta?! The power supply company? I didn't know they made 'boards at one point. The switch is interesting, too - maybe SMK or Futaba with extra spring? Or something capacitive (wouldn't match any non-working keys though)? Definitely an oddball, that's for sure. Let us know what you find when it arrives.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

I have a number of keyboards that kave that type of key stem slider. Unfortunately they are usually an old capacitive (foam and foil) or a rubber dome. Rarely is it a self containded switch that has that slider and spring. More bizzzzzarrre things have happened though, but to be one the safe side don't get yer hopes up =S
Nice to get those DS keys though, the ones that I had were indeed cherry keystem compatible =)

Just got around to taking it apart, and yep, it's a foam and foil... except it's tactile. There's a small metal clip next to the plunger that provides tactile and slight audio feedback. Keycaps are mx compatible, but the white ones have yellowed slightly.

I am glad to hear my memory still kinda works, lol  =P

You might be able to reduce and/or eliminate the yellowed look. Try a quick search around for the retrobrite mix and denture cleaning tabs. Some semi-harsh cleaners (like comet) can work sometimes too.

Yeah, I'm just contemplating if it's worth retrobriting the entire keyboard or just the keycaps. It's quite a well built keyboard for what it is, even has a steel back... hmm.
