Hello everyone!
This time to introduce you to a new set of
keycap design:MW-UNNAMED

(I would be really grateful if you could spend a couple of minutes to give us some feedback.)

INSPIRATION
The design inspiration came from a set of accidental brush to the 3D design pictures, the black and purple color scheme and exaggerated shape deeply into my mind, and the idea of designing a set of key caps with this color scheme.

What is CLRT?

Also isn't common to see a WIN key. Unless you're attached to the key for a particular reason, you'd probably be better off with CODE or SUPER.

CLRT is a bug and I will fix it right away.

The capitalized super can look crowded, which I don't think is appropriate.

Why not combine the alt mods and alt alphas into an alt basekit? alone they don't serve much purpose as you would need to buy both anyway.

scrap that i just realise that the mods are different

The mods kit and alt alphas kit are meant to be more versatile, not to be combined into a base, and there really isn't much use in buying them separately, as they are meant to be used with other kits, so if you only need the mods kit and alt alphas kit, it's just a matter of moving your fingers a bit more.
The base has an extra 2.25 ushift, so if you choose to buy the base and alt alphas kit, that will make two keyboards.

One thing I'd suggest is changing "Pus" to "Pse." "Pus" sounds a little gross, and I've never seen that as an abbreviation for pause.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, don't like sub legends and wouldn't be willing to buy basekit + alphas to have a set i would use. GLWIC

I like the set per se, but if it runs with MW I'm skipping it entirely.
not risking another MW demon girl disaster.

I would not touch this keycap set with a pole if it's run with MW.

Agreed. Feeling bad for the designers because there are many great MW designs. But both eBPT and MW are actually worse than GMK right now. Both manus ghosting designers and delays upon delays. At least GMK is predictable and is steadily pumping out sets. Kinda sad because MW was supposed to be the GMK killer when it first boasted the unprecedented "3-month production cycles". That did not age well and aged really badly in a hurry.

How do y'all expect this set to run in GMK? An enormous portion of the legends, from the subs to the novelties and even potentially the mods would have to be UV printed. On top of that, GMK is expensive, has very little kitting flexibility and a massive backlog. Looking at dyesub manus other than MW, none are in any better position atm. MW has good dyesub quality but is backlogged, ePBT has decent dyesub but isn't accepting GBs and still has a large backlog, and most of the other dyesub manus like KBM are unproven, or have a bad track record. What should a designer do, just not create the design in the first place? It's up to y'all where you put your money, but please understand that as a designer we have limited manu choices and all of them have issues.

no one ever said that. point is just that MW is a poor manu choice since it fails on all sides, even lead times - also compared to the industry gold standard (GMK) which is the prime example of scuffed lead times and raised major outcries about it.

and I wouldn't argue that the quality of MW sets is good, quite far from it. check out how bad MW Heresy and MW Demon girl turned out. lead vendors even decided the whole orders had to be remanufactured entirely. both GBs have been ongoing for 12+ months each, and those who got their sets from non-leading vendors are stuck with scratched, uneven and barely usable sets. what customer would intentionally go through all this mess again?

if manu choices are limited and they all have issues, options are to rework/postpone the project, or explore different possibilities (e.g. NK PBT sets seem to be well received from the community, in terms of quality). I feel like choosing "the lesser evil" means just dooming the project from the start.

that said, I encourage the designer to push forward with his project, as I said I like it visually, I'm not saying it shouldn't be run. my only feedback is to spend a bit more time reconsidering the manu choice.

Heresy and Demon girl are being remade. All other sets that have delivered without the new material that was used on Heresy and Demon Girl were well-received.

You say not to choose the "lesser evil." Please tell me what manufacturer doesn't have problems so I can use them. All manufacturers have problems, including NK PBT, GMK, SP, MW, ePBT, etc. There is no magical manu without problems. I explained many of these problems above, which you seem to have completely ignored. No one thinks MW is a perfect manufacturer, but if a designer is looking for thin, high quality dyesub there are not many other options.

Love the colors for this set. MW makes me pause, but to support a good design I would risk it. Got MW Voynich in last week and it was pretty dope, so I'm huffing the hopium for the remade sets.

First of all, thank you for your like, but please do not pre-add the problems of MW demon girl to Unnamed, I will try my best to avoid such problems.

The scratches caused by Heresy and Demon girl due to material problems will not happen again. Currently, MW has solved this problem and still maintains an excellent feel. Among the limited manufacturers, because of the design, I think MW is more suitable for unnamed than other manufacturers.
