Strange Caps Lock problem
« on: Wed, 13 October 2010, 15:02:43 »
Both of my keyboards, a DAS Pro and a Filco tenkeyless, will just repeat AAAAAA ... when I hit caps lock. As far as I can tell, all of my other keys work just fine.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Both keyboards are using cherry blue switches, though I'm sure it's nothing to do with that.

Thanks for taking the time to read about my problem. :)

Have you tried a different port? Might be a mobo issue. Do you have any autohotkey software running in the background?

Since A is right next to Caps Lock, it could very well be a mechanical problem. Try taking off the key cap of either.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D
