[IC] CL SH - Silver and Glass Enamel Artisans

Hello everyone,

I am a goldsmith with a background working as a traditional jeweler. This year I decided to put my skills to use on my new-found hobby of MK and Keycaps.

Up until now I have been playing around with solid silver keycaps, adding gemstones, glass enamel and gold accents.

I am aiming to create single Artisan Keycaps or limited series of up to 30 pieces. If you are interested in seeing part of the process, I try to consistently document and post my work on my socials.

Single keycaps of the existing designs are available on my webpage and handmade to order. Organizing a group buy would help to lower the production costs and the final price.

The following designs are compatible with Cherry MX and box switches.

Thank you! This is actually very helpful. Sadly the production costs are already quite high in my region and by outsourcing it I wouldn't be able to guarantee the same quality.

Do you also find the group buy price to be unreasonable? If yes, it really wouldn't be realistic for me to make them outside of commissions for now. Again, answers like yours really help me see if this would be viable at all.

Oh I worded that a bit weirdly. Since I am not really experienced in smithing and how everything comes into play, I don't really know what prices to expect. Was just a general question if the prices hold up. But after researching a bit about it, it makes total sense!

Outsourcing wouldn't make a lot of sense in that case since they're your personal work and the pieces show off the work you put into them and the skills you acquired in that field.
