Hello everyone! This is Hannn from China, a keyboard enthusiast (especially EC HHKB) and a freshman keyboard designer.
Previously, I collaborated with Sho on the S60v2 — a compatible case for HHKB Pro 2.
And now, I’m happy to present my first solo project:
A HHKB Pro 3 compatible aftermarket case — H2H.

Design Inspiration

HHKB users will instantly recognize this case’s inspiration—
yes, it’s the HHKB Studio.

When I first saw Studio, I loved its aesthetic! until I knew it was a mx keyboard…
Though I like both mx and ec keyboards, a mx HHKB felt like a betrayal of its essence. An idea struck me: ‘Why not create a Studio-like case that stays true to HHKB’s soul?
I named it ‘H2H’ as a tribute to my first HHKB case group buy— it stands for ‘Hannn to HHKB’, a personal milestone in my design journey.

Aesthetic Showcase & Key Features

The exterior references the HHKB Studio's design where the bottom case wraps around the top case, also using a two-tone color scheme.
The side profile incorporates curved elements I prefer (same as the S60v2),

And adds a bevel cut at the lower part of the bottom case to enrich the side profile.
The front features uniform bezels on all four sides with large rounded corners,
making the overall design harmonize better with the soft side curves.

At first I was excited that someone was tackling the mouse inputs of the HHKB Studio. Still a neat looking project regardless.

Actually, R1 was a non-profit group buy, I just wanted to make a few for personal use. That’s why the price increased for R2.

price seems a tad high, but i too would be interested in an aluminum HHKB case with a nice aesthetic. is it possible to get more pics of the black/gray unit? looks great in some, but the contrast makes it hard to see the gray color accurately.
