Hi there! I just got my first board today, it's a quick fire TK with cherry mx blue.  It feels amazing but if I try to avoid bottoming out (as I always do on my rubber dome), my hands become quite stress... Is there an "optimal" way of using a blue switches keyboard? Thanks a lot for advices!!!

If you're talking about ergonomics that's realm for science and specialists, but here... well bottoming out isn't everyone's cup of tea.  Although there's a lot of people who love to do it on a Topre switch.  I believe the optimal way to use any switch is to get to actuation and finish the sentence if you know what I mean :3

Good luck and godspeed you on your road to recovery from this addiction.

Most people get sort of more used to the tactile point as time goes on. I would suggest trying to type normally and let the switch adjust your way of typing naturally as eventually bottoming out becomes an unfavourable action.

I think this can only be done overtime through muscle memory. At some point , your hands will remember the exact force and travel necessary to register a keystroke. Do not worry about it, you are not doing anything incorrectly by bottoming out.

For me, Blues are really light, and bottoming put is pretty much inevitable. As people mentioned, don't try to force something that puts unneeded stress on your hands for nothing. If you don't want to bottom out and can't help it with Blues, maybe you need heavier switches (or heavier springs swapped in).

Soft-landing pads may help you. They definitely helped me when typing on blues, because I couldn't avoid bottoming out, and it was annoyingly loud. In fact, I could barely hear the click.

I bottom out when I type on blues and I have soft-landing pads on my Leopold. It's an amazing combination for me.

When it comes to blues, soft-landing pads > o-rings IMHO.
