Android 2.2 iPad Clones Support Flash 10
« on: Wed, 10 November 2010, 00:50:36 »
Just released in SZ (China). New iPad clones run Android 2.2 / Windows 7 with "decent" hardware equal to iPad, supporting Flash 10.1 and multitasking.

8" Android 2.2 aPad - 1GHz Cortex A8 Processor - 512MB DDR2

10.1" Windows 7 ePad - 1.66GHz Atom N455 - 2GB DDR3 - 32GB SSD

Any reviews, discussion on those? I have laid my money down and waiting for the courier to show up. Been burnt before and not holding my breath, but as an ebook reader and wifi surfer?
The important things are always simple while the simple things are always hard.

My favourite gadgets:
Touch Screen MP4 | ePad | Pocket Projector | Cheap Digital Camcorder

It doesn't look like the 8-inch model has multi-touch. Resistive multi-touch exists but it hasn't hit any products yet.

But the 10-inch (Windows) model is multi-touch, and even has a higher resolution screen than the iPad.

I'd rather have an oqo now that they've come way down in price.  They have about the same specs and fit in your pocket. Most go for less than $400.

Shame the company is out of business now.  Don't have to put up with that resistive touch screen crap either.  The 02 versions have wacom penabled active digitizers.

Bull****.  I play YouTube vids all the time on my phone with 2.2; both using the app and on the YouTube site.  You're doing it wrong.
