This is not a For Sale thread, but I do mention what I want to sell for a more clear picture of where I started and where I'm going (illustrates the evolution). I'm sure many of you have similar stories. I thought I would share a snapshot of my unintentional/accidental hobby. I had an Apple keyboard and a mouse July 2009. I wanted to cut a Kinesis Contoured into 2 ergonomic halves, since I couldn't find something good enough like that to purchase. Starting here at Geekhack from a Google search August 2009, has brought me to this:
2 IBM KPD8923 (to harvest the trackpoints)
1 IBM KPD8923 (trackpoint already used)
1 Kinesis Freestyle PC---for sale
1 Kinesis Freestyle Mac---for sale
7 Kinesis Contoureds (1-130, 1-Essential, 1- Classic, 4-Advantage)---all for sale except the 130 and 1 Advantage
2 RollerMouse Stations---1 for sale
1 RollerMouse Free
1 Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 RH rev 2---for sale
1 Logitech RX-1500 Hyperscroll mouse (to harvest hyperscroll)
1 Apple Magic Trackpad
1 Kinesis Contoured 3 switch foot pedal
Still to get:
1 Datahand (to be modified with pointing device)
1 AlphaGrip (if they ever actually make one again)
1 Huge laser trackball is still on the horizon, couple options to choose from
Other items not so easy to recognize:
Several "friendships" with some pretty neat people, a tremendous amount of virtually useless information, a worthless, unenforceable patent which has led to a crazy offer from a keyboard manufacturer, and a ridiculously cool split Kinesis Contoured. Plus, I know a lot about Kinesis Contoureds.
Ok, so now where are all the women at?
Thank you Geekhack.
P.S. Oh yea, and I type a LOT better.
