I love those keycaps.  Where have I seen that same shaped Enter and Tab?  Did some of the old Selectrics have a similar shape?

"This keyboard was pulled from a working system."

Don't get me started...

Some Selectric II. Others have the big two-row Return, like the first Selectric, without the extra key nestled in the L. I think the Selectric III all had familiar ANSI/ISO layouts, but don't quote me.

It's actually plausible! Wiki: "In 1997 Wang reported having about 200 2200 systems still under maintenance around the world. Throughout, Wang had always offered maintenance services for the 2200."

I'm not saying it's not plausible; I'm noting that a recently working system now isn't. I expect the parts that don't look like they can be flipped for a quick buck on eBay will be scrapped.

For the record, I'd rather have a white ANUS than a big, old dirty WANG. That's just how I roll.

Not any of mine, not with that connector.  I think this thing has more in common with a TRS-80 keyboard than a PC keyboard.

Our boy is back.  As big and dirty as ever, but for half the price.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380294276664

It appears the winning bidder on the previous sale didn't pay his bill, so it's relisted.  Interesting though the buyer still has 100% feedback, even though other auctions he's won have also gone unpaid way past their due date.  Being I don't know the story in this case, I won't speculate, though privately have some ideas on why this might be.

On the contrary, I do believe that the listing specifically mentions MICRO black sliders. On the upside however, this wang is not a cherry.

How's everyone doing with those IBM Beam Springs of yours?

Still trying to find time to re-assemble it :P.
Unfortunately, 8 of the switches have broken (or were already broken)...so I'll have to get inventive to fix them.

Interesting, money is sitting in my Paypal, doing nothing :D.
