Are there any Chiclet keyboards that don't suck?  At the least the overlays are of limited interest.

Reminds me of the push to rebrand "last meals" as "special meals".  The war of words.  I prefer Chiclet because the alternative makes me think island->tropical->homeless people.  :tinfoil3:

I don't particularly want to open up my PCJr keyboard, but the keys don't sort of lock up if you push them to the side on mine either. Don't have the PCJr to test input with anymore though.

It feels like they are caught in such a way that you have to actually open it up.

But I'm bored so I'll open it up in an hour.

Nope, looks like a membrane. Can't actually get it open though, something is locking it down that I can't see. I just peeked through a corner.

And the keys are a little locked in, there's little nubs on the corners keeping them under the board.
