I just cant seem to decide what to use which keyboard for!  If anyone has a realforce with variable weights or a cherry mx brown board how do you like to use it?  I find they are both just awesome at everything and i dont like going through the hassle of changing keyboards all the time, but then again i want to use both of them since they are both great!   :P

its a good problem to have and one that many geekhackers would not mind having i am sure.   :P    I still wish i could at least find a good place to set one of the boards so that i could switch them out without unplugging either one ever.

I want to be an octopus so that I can use a lot of keyboards at the same time.

You can toss a coin and let it decide for you...

Well, at one point I had three keyboards connected so I can switch whenever I like. Now I have two connected and I go back and forth. Unless you have a very small desk, why not just leave them both connected? :)

Your left hand can be on one keyboard while your right hand can be on the other.

Trouble will happen when you want to press shift lol

Rotate monthly.  Gives you something to look forward to month to month.

Do you work from home, or is having one at work and one at home an option?

I have both Cherry browns and a variable-weight Realforce.  I just swap out when I get all nostalgic for the other 'board.  Now with the Noppoo, I'll type on the RF for about 5 minutes, and switch back to the Noppoo.  The Cherry browns always reel me back in.

I have space under my monitor to hold either my customizer or my hhkb, whichever I'm not using. I do tend to leave both plugged in when I'm home, though the hhkb does travel with me.

They sit on the stand of the monitor, and on the Customizer, the monitor bezel sits over the number row, if that tells you how far it sticks out onto my desk. My desk isn't particularly deep, but it still feels like enough room to me.

I used to switch between keyboards depending on what I was doing.  It became a hassle, and when I would change out boards for gaming it always seemed to take longer to warm up.  Since, I have decided to stick with my RF for everything.

Currently own a Noppoo Choc with Browns and Realforce variable weight 103UB.  I'd say that I much more enjoy gaming with the Noppoo Browns over the realforce, however, I love typing on the realforce.  So, if I had to categorize them:  Noppoo Browns for gaming, Topre/Realforce for typing.  I also love blues for gaming...

You don't drink vodka for the flavor... or lack thereof.

That being said, I would recommend bringing one to work, assuming you have a desk that someone else isn't likely to use. If that isn't the case, I would recommend setting up some usb extensions that end up right underneath your monitor, so that switching keyboards is quick and painless. I just started doing that because I have the same problem, but on the other end of the spectrum. I have two places to use a good keyboard, but only one keyboard to use, so I have been bringing it to and from work.

alright, i think ill go with iMav's idea of switching every month or so.   That way i am not switching the boards too often and i still get to enjoy both of them equally   :)

Put a bottle of Vodka on your table.  Drink liberally and frequently.

The first keyboard you spill on will get fried and the problem is solved.

This is called "Russian Keyboard Roulette".

lol, you know that 2 kids had to go to the hospital because they were playing Russian roulette with a semi-automatic pistol?  Too bad neither of them died, would have rid the world of some stupid for a change.
