haven't check this guy's subscriptions in almost 4months since there hasn't been much new videos, just decided to check now and 2 vids on the selectric.

I had one of these typewriters.  It was actually put together from parts of two broken ones.  My father found them along the side of the road and brought them home.  In the matter of a single day, he had one working model.  We used it for years before we finally had a computer in the home that could do word processing.  I even wrote my highschool reports and college term papers on the thing.  

I AM old!

Though the last one may be a fake. Memory function makes more sense indeed. I don't think such an old Wheelwriter would sport anything that could even run a Linux kernel.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

ya i wanna make a selectric iii usb input device for a computer or ipad .. it shouldnt be hard since it supposedly has a digital to analog converter .. i need digital to digital .. i dropped out of electrical engineering when i was 18 so i have no clue about making a pcb to do it.
