Grandia

The PS1 was the first console I ever had (not including gameboys), and this game is one of the best I ever played (although it was available on DC Saturn). Maybe my views are slightly bias, as this was my 'childhood rpg'. I remember my sister getting to the last boss but she wasn't a high enough level to combat it properly.

I have now been playing it quite often (on and off over the last 4 months) and I am one stage away from the final boss, I am confident that my levels are higher than expected and I will be able to rage the last boss but I'm not really certain. However, I'd say that it was even better than the legendary FF7, have any of you guys played this brilliant game?

I think ppl would be more interested in sister that plays rpg's!

My fiance is a long time gamer, and in backward ville Amish town, the "seemingly" hardcore gamers in our age bracket (24-40) play angry birds or brain age or rock band, and whatever wii game is around cuz they have a wii for their kids.

while i don't subscribe to the theory that your significant other would be best doing hobbies like yours... it's cute that i can tell her while in a convo of 6 ppl that
"this stupid mob has aggro on me"

back on topic, i think grandia would be more accessable if it was ported to current gen stuff. IDK like PSN download, port it to psp/ds/iphone. all the Final fantasys up to 6 are ported to one portable device or another, just like i'd hate to take out the ps one (yea i have the tiny white one cuz the ps1 was so busted up) to play final fantasy 7,8,9. But still ppl with ps2's can still play those games, the problem is the damn memory cards. I think you need a ps1 memory card to play a ps1 game, and if i remember only like 15 saves per slot. Sony was really annoying with those cards.
