Xai MouseSkates
« on: Sat, 26 February 2011, 19:25:30 »
My xai mouse skates are worn. I have skates for other mice than the xai which I can trade for.
I have Steelseries MX Skates, and 2 $5 off coupon for Puretrak products that way you can get the mouseskates from puretrak for free.

I was looking for if anyone can order these:

Or trade for either Corepad or Steelseries Xai skates.

I use low friction tape to make my own

I bought a roll of low friction tape (aka Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene) for use in the shop, and on a whim tried it out on my mouse.  It worked really well.

18 feet of 1" wide tape was about twelve bucks.  I use maybe four inches to redo the mouse every few months.  A roll lasts a long time.
Daily drivers are:
Microsoft Natural (the original, and still going strong)
Microsoft Natural Elite
