Travel Router Recommendation

Hi All,

I have been researching and debating small wireless routers and have narrowed it down to 2.

The first:

http://www.amazon.com/Mobile-Hotspot-Wireless-Network-802-3az/dp/B003U6FJS4/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I32L6KZ6DX13S8&colid=1DWBOV0TVN771

Sapido RB-1132.  I've been trying to find some more info on this thing, specifically, whether or not the power plug 'folds down,' is 'fixed,' or comes with interchangeable plugs.  The features on this guy seem to trump my other choice but the web interface seems clunky and bound to Sapido's seemingly strange router terminology. I have also heard it gets very hot...

The second:

http://www.amazon.com/802-11N-Travel-Router-300MBPS-Magnet/dp/B003TSZ3IY/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1JQ9XUHILJO9V&colid=1DWBOV0TVN771

This little guy is made by Engenius.  I really like how it has magnets for mounting (which I would honestly probably never use) and appears to be even tinier than the Sapido (a big plus for me).  It does need a cable to power it up which could be a plus or minus, depending on the situation.  The Engenius has a few less features: no USB (although, interestingly, I did find a model for sale in the UK that has a USB and is otherwise the same) for 3G, no extra LAN port, and a lack of physical switches to change which mode you are in (done through the web interface).  On the bright side, the interface seems to hold to more of a US standard (since it is, afterall, made in the USA) and looks less 'iffy' overall when compared to the Sapido.

Any experience with any of these devices?  Likes, dislikes? Any more information on either would be appreciated or even a smallish review would be tremendous help as I can't seem to find a whole lot on the net thus far...

Where do you travel?  I simply use a Verizon mifi.  Works great for the areas I typically travel.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm really trying to avoid another wireless data plan :)  What I really want one of these for is to have it as a backup router, part of my tech kit, extending the range and strength of wireless at home or on the road, being able to set up my own firewall in public as well as the flexibility of being able to plug in directly with an ethernet cable.
