Bought earlier this week from Orphagn, see here: http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=16831

15 hours spent with him, 30 minutes spent with me. Condition is like new. All keys verified working. Original box included. Quality packaging. UPS shipping. Ships same day if it's before 4-5PM CST.

MX browns are not for me.

Welcoming reasonable offers (PM or reply). I paid $108 total, to give you an idea.

I use my Noppoo on an iMac at work everyday... fortunately the only OSX related work I do is testing the web tools a few times a year for browser compatibility.

It is truly a bummer the market for this is limited by an OS, this keyboard is an awesome tool.

Shame that Noppoos are being passed around, I purchased a blue cherry one and have been perfectly content with it.

It seems all of the issues arise from the switch choice, not the board itself. Everyone who bought a switch they liked has praised the Noppoo to no end. Even the people who bought a new switch they ended up not liking has not said anything negative about the board itself.

Why is the layout a problem for OS X? It looks like it has enough keys to just remap alt to command, then everything else you'd need to do.

Only reason I don't like it is because I'm one of those silly people who wants the numpad.

It has the virtual numpad, which IMO is even better than a physical one. Keyboard still takes up less space, and you get the 00 key!

The NKRO over USB means it won't work properly on a Mac. To get NKRO over USB the keyboard pretty much fools the computer into thinking there are like 3 or more keyboards hooked up.

So the answer is: the layout isn't a problem.

I just tried to get these blue numpad keys on my dell laptop to work like that with the function key and couldn't. Seems like a pain. (but that was literally my first attempt, I've never done that before. its also my only non fullsize keyboard)

That kinda sucks that there isn't a switch on the bottom to make it not do that and act normal or something. Though that might be technically not possible because it may be physically multiple keyboards on the inside to deal with matrix stuff, unless it only happens in the controller and it has the usual setup for PS/2 connections so I'll stop speculating.

What does that actually do to OS X with it acting like that? I know I can literally plug in a PS/2 board and then a bunch of USB keyboards and type on any of them at any time in windows, so I don't know why that's a problem.

It does this weird ghost key press thing. Not like how that term is normally used. But the keyboard seems to send random keypresses, even when not in use. Very strange.

I'd like to sell this before I try MX blacks or maybe scissors. I bought this Noppoo mainly because I like the layout. I've never tried any MX switch before though so it was also my quick go at browns.

PM or post, Mr. Buyer. Thanks for looking!
