Need to buy 1 Cherry MX Blue Switch
« on: Thu, 28 April 2011, 22:25:08 »
Does anyone know where I can buy 1 Cherry MX Blue switch?  While changing key caps, my superman stength made me pull out the entire switch.  I am in the process of soldering it back.  If it doesn't work, I will need to buy a new one :(

Thanks.

Or just swap it with something useless like Scroll Lock.  Watch for torn PCB traces!
Currently GMMK Pro: lubed 68g U4T, FR4 plate, extra gaskets, etc

Thanks for the help, guys.  I was able to solder it back on to the curcuit board.  That freaked me out.  For some reason, the puller caught the edges of the switch and let me pull the whole thing out.  This is an old Das Keyboard II, a Cherry made board.  Thanks.

Yep, that is exactly how the puller was holding the switch when th puller was 3 feet away from the keyboard!  LOL!  I learned something new.
