They're definitely heavier than most switches, but quite frankly I think they're still pretty easy to use. It's not like they're actually hard to press, they'll just naturally fatigue your hands faster than lighter switches if you have a lot of keyboard work to do.
That said, for the price of a 6Gv2 you *should* be pretty close to being able to afford a tenkeyless Leopold w/ Browns (check Elitekeyboards) if you'd rather try those first.
Edit - Actually EK does have tenkeyless Leopolds still but only the "blank" version. You could also check the Classifieds section here as new stuff shows up often in all variety of switch types.
