Brand new Filco Zero 87-key "Tenkeyless" with Fukka (unbranded ALPS) keyswitches.

This is one of my spare units from a later production run, sold by Elitekeyboards.com (after the unpopular XM keyswitches were swapped with Fukka keyswitches).

A well-made, pleasant keyboard.  I don't care what Welly says, I've never experienced any transposition errors on mine.  Then again, I can't type over 100 WPM

$130 USD including 2nd Day UPS shipping to any address in the continental US.

PayPal only

30 day money back guarantee

PM me if you are interested.

Cheers

Man, this is so tempting. If it's still available at the end of the month, it is so mine.

I'm super jealous. This is what happens when you run out of keyboard funds early in the month.

I think maxlugar went to bed after making the post. But I'm pretty sure I was 1st since there were only 4 Views at the time.

But I will let this one go. I was able to fix the squeaky problem with the spacebar on my Zero. There's no need to have 2 Zeros even though it's a pretty good keyboard.

I can confirm you shouldn't see a transposition error in that Zero and Welly went a bit nuclear for naught.

Details here.

Well, well, such an unexpected endorsement (confirmation of fact) from the one and only geekgirl!

I'm sure that explains why my Inbox was literally flooded with PMs within seconds of your endorsement.

Anyhow, because mmmty has graciously decided to pass, the new Filco Zero has been sold to litster.

How can I ever repay you geekgirl?    ;-)

Received the Zero this morning.  Thank you maxlugar for shipping it 2nd day air!  typing on it now!  It feels like buckling spring, but different.  Will write feedback for you.

You must have only used cherry's and BS to say something like that.

Close.  I also have a Realforce Toprer 86U.  This is my first Alps.  I typed on Northgate and old Dell before.  But that was like 18 years ago and I haven't typed on those recently.

Actually, it was overnighted (next day air).  No expense spared for my clients  ;-)

If you typed on a Northgate before, then you have typed on ALPS keyswitches.  However, complicated white ALPS like those found on the classic Northgate Omnikeys do have a signficantly different feel compared to the simplifed "Fukka" ALPS used in more recent boards like the Filco Zero and Solidtek ASK-6600U.

Right next day air.  That is superb service!  I typed on Northgate, so long ago, that I don't remember how it felt.  Sometimes ignorance is blessing.  :)
