Mouse arrived today finally after a long time! :)
In case people wonder, the extra 2 buttons on the opposite side don't bother me at all, I never hit them accidentally.
The material used is also very nice, good grip.

Never been an issue at all for me either. I have not once hit them.
If you are a person that hits them by mistake then just assign then no function.

I know what you mean about getting used to a mouse shape. - I used the intellimouse optical 1.1 for years. That's why, after trying a number of mice for a while I ended up with the Xai. It's  like the big brother of the IO 1.1.

The shape is feeling really nice now, also love the materials used on this mouse.
Did you ever had an issue with the sensor RamaBot? 2 times today I had it teleported at random up in my screen, don't know why it happened tho, but besides that it feels really right, might've been some dust between the sensor or something maybe?

We haven't had a single glltch with either of the Xais we have here. You my have had it on a surface the sensor doesn't like. Or some dust.
We use Steelseries Qck Mouse Pads here - they are lovely surfaces. The Xai just seems to float on it.
People rate the 4Hd/9HD to for the Xai. I just really like soft pads.

You think that when you post 'this and that is ****', everybody takes it for granted and it is the ultimate truth.
If you bothered to enter exactly what I say in Google and take 5 minutes of your time to do some reading you would come to the conclusion that everything I say should be taken for granted and that it is undoubtedly the ultimate truth.

Back on topic:

OP, have you tried installing the razer drivers?  There's an option to change double click speed, and changing it might help you out.

I found that the firmware update does not solve the double click issues completely.
A suggestion was to spray some WD40 on the micro switch itself.

What I did to solve the issue was to solder in a new switch, pretty easy, plus they are quite cheap, these switches
