Feel Bad for Leaving Negative Feedback for Perfect Sellers?
« on: Wed, 17 August 2011, 10:16:59 »
Do you feel bad for being the first person to leave a negative comment to a seller with a perfect record?

The problem could be exacerbated when he/she has more feedbacks than you, where a reciprocal negative record would affect you more than him.

If the performance is crap today, it's crap.

Call it for what it is.

No.

But some Ping people and my wife say I lack empathy.  She's the seventh wife to say that.

I hate people who have no empathy. I have no empathy for them.

I've done it, and there "should" be no reason to feel guilty.
Its only natural, that you CAN'T make everyone happy.

if they suck, then they suck, you can usually extort them to make you give them a better rating. Or i should say they'll bend over backwards so that they'll have a pristine record.

Now watch the seller go bonkers and post nasty stuff about you.

Exactly.  I wouldn't give a crap about their rep but the fact that if they have more feedback than you, them saying thing that are worse to you will affect your rating even more.

I usually just get my money back.

Like my KQED shirt that had a stain.  The seller refunded everything, let me keep the shirt, then proceeded to send me half a dozen whiny emails which I ignored.

His Ebay pic was cropped to JUST cut off the stain.  Lol.

I remember that. What were the emails to you for? Sounds settled to me. Did he want a hug?

Great sellers make things right. If they refuse, then they aren't a great seller, and their record should reflect that.

I hate ebay. All it is is an excuse to sell overpriced junk and charge big bucks to ship it.

Its not Ebay that I hate...its PayPal. Or, at least, I don't want to use them. I would rather trust my credit card (never thought I'd say THAT).
