How actually well liked are they?

I searched and stuff and found ripsters review saying he'd box it up and leave it alone. Other than that I just found mentions of calling the switch type buckling rubber sleeve.

I know for a fact that you've tried more scissor switch type stuff by now (low profile in general I guess). So I was trying to find out how it (and other things) are received now.

Well for things like that, keyfeel would be the most important to me. So I was just trying to check out low profile switches in general and see how this one would usually be ranked against them. Because I've run across an m4 I can poke at (it isn't mine). With rankings and descriptions of keyfeel, I can figure what ones I might like based on that m4 and my laptops actual keyboard as base points.

Similar to how I know for a fact that I don't like browns just from having tried blues and clears then also reading the descriptions of them.

Alot of those quotes show the age of the review, especially the 'I should try some more scissor switches' one. So my purpose in this thread was to find out how things generally stand to most people now.

I haven't used their low profile versions as seen in the M4, but I can tell you their full size version is actually surprisingly nice feeling. At least, the one in the Unicomp was actually super nice. Much more tactile than I expected it to be, as well.
