I have a pretty heavy typing style - the last keyboard that I had that i really liked before I actually started geeking on newer mechanical keyboards was a Dell mechanical (I assume some flavor of AT101) and before that the Model M - so YMMV. But to answer your question, no, they don't tire me out

FWIW I did try ergo clears and liked them, but I liked the straight clears better. If you like the browns but just wish that they were more tactile but for whatever reason don't want to go to blues - yeah, possibly ergo clears are for you.
I did the mods to my Filco myself, and that was the first time I'd done any soldering on a PCB. I did go overboard on the equipment; I bought myself a new Weller soldering station and also a desoldering pump pretty much just for that project, but knowing me, it's not the last time that this stuff will be used. (I already had an old Weller soldering station, and did use it somewhat regularly for various projects, but figured it was actually time to step up to the current century and get something that I didn't have to change tips on to change temperatures...)
and you're almost right on my username, it's actually Nate N. (my last name begins with N as well...)
