Hey one of the machines at work have white cherry stems and they are linear. I really love the feel of them and find the force perfect for my fingers. However they are white and I am not sure what g they are. If anyone can help, it would really help me gauge between red and black for my purchase. Thanks. Also have nice double shot keys apparently. Sorry typed in a hurry on my phone while at work.

They are definitely old, used cherry clears. Originally these were tactile, but quiet, but the dont age well and the tactile bump wears out with heavy use, especially in working environments.

Can you post a picture of the complete board and the sticker on the back please? That looks interesting. The caps are sourced from SP, so my first guess was this was an Access-IS board, but it would be the first one ive ever seen using clears. Also, I find that font on the caps quite pleasing, let me see the resat of the board^^.

It is for the gas station so it isn't really a board. I thought they might be clears but didn't know the bump wears off to age easily. This is what it looks like.

do the switches actually say cherry on them? if they don't, they could also be fakes, which would explain them feeling linear.

Yes they have the cherry logo and the crevass for led lights. It is funny how those feel much lighter than the blues I have at home. I am guessing either the springs are old or because linear ones feel much different.

Wasn't there a white mx switch once apon a time? I think it was supposed to be linear too. I'm using already well used POS clears and they still have plenty of tactility left in them. That and the lightness of the spring make me think these are not just worn out clears.

Im amazed at all the strange places weve found cherry switches, Sixty even found them used on an intercom unit once. Ive found several video editing boxes and consoles that used cherries.
