Decided to buy my first mech board and mx brown switches seem to be the safest bet. I was going to buy the Das pro silent but like others, I'm hesitant because of the glossy design. I prefer something simpler.

I'm looking for a reasonable board with mx brown switches that is preferably Filco majestouch. I am open to other brands as well just shoot me a pm. Willing to pay $80-$110 shipped (I am located in california) depending on the condition of the board. I also wouldn't mind full 104 set if the price is right.

I don't have much rep here, but I have a decent amount of rep on OCN as well as ebay.

If you're looking for an MX Brown and don't want to wait until someone responds and can pay the extra 10 or so dollars, you should just get the MX Brown Leopold from Elitekeyboards.com.

Thanks for the help, I actually just changed my mind and am set on a tkless Filco. :D Pretty much flipped the thread upside down sorry about that... but I'll still keep the info in mind thanks!

Oh ok. Well, just a heads up, it's highly unlikely someone is going to sell you their Filco Majestouch 2 for 110. It's at least 130 being relatively new and unbroken.

Really? The board goes for $140 new on amazon free ship no tax.... I'm not looking for brand new, just good working condition and ill be happy.

Also going back to the last 5-10 pages of posts ive seen a bunch of majestouch 1/2 going for as low as $70 here

if it isn't a black switch, i'd like to see links to those sell threads.

Good luck tho, but if you don't find one for that price, leopold keyboards are on par with filcos IMO.

Lol, i'm not sure why everyone is so surprised. Look at the last 5 pages of filco browns. They've been sold between 70-110. I'm not expecting brand new condition, but I've seen 2-3 sold at that price so far... in the last week. And obviously $70 is the LOWESt but I'd be happy to pay closer to $100-$110 as well all depending on condition.

Prefer the looks of the filco so I'm trying to get a filco over leopold for now. As well as the rumors of mushy leopold stabilizers.

There were other links I couldn't find, but still within 5 minutes I found a few links that are within the range that I'm asking. I don't think my asking price is that unreasonable? I'm open to any offers though... higher or lower then my asking range. Not trying to argue that I'm expecting someone to sell me a filco in great condition for $70. But that's the price range I'm looking for, and I've seen some sold (yes, probably with flaws) within the $70-$110 price range. Hence why I said in OP i'm looking for a "reasonable board" not brand new perfect condition.
