Newbie Question..
« on: Fri, 21 October 2011, 12:20:05 »
My brown MX switches (in my Zowie) feel scratchy when pressing it down - although I did not water/vacuum it. Anybody any experience with oiling switches? seems odd right?

Maybe brown is not for you. It is known to feel "scratchy", one of the  reasons why people like it.

If you want silky smooth switches, buckling springs are the way to go.  You'll be pounding those things all night long...

Try reds, they have no scratchy bump at all.

ALPS are much sharper than cherries, maybe you would like them more.
