And I actually think that is a pretty accurate summation of myself.

I love learning above all things hence nerd, but I'm definitely a Starcraft Geek and am somewhat reclusive and avoid big parties, but I still like communicating with people a lot, just not large groups.

When I was in early highschool my science instructor said the difference between Nerd and Geek dealt with whether or not they had blue or black ink pens in their pocket protector.

Dork meaning penis is a useless playground fact wrt this discussion.  Even if it's true, it has no bearing on the current usage of the word.
