Mouse problem
« on: Sun, 23 October 2011, 10:38:14 »
Hello all,

So here's my problem. I am currently using a Rat Cyborg 7 mouse. About a couple of months ago, my just randomly started double-clicking on single clicks. It doesn't do this all the time but at random. I don't think it's a problem with the driver. Any ideas as to what the cause is? One possibility that I read about is a problem with the contact points. Not sure though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yup, nailed it.

:P

Seriously, I believe I read about this being an issue for others. I seem to remember others bending a metal leaf inside the problem swith and resolving the problem. I know I've heard of this somewhere, just not sure it was in reference to the cyborg.

Well, I guess you're asking for the mouse to fail you when it doesn't even have a decent sensor in it.

Hey Ripster, Just checked the link, pried open the left button, poked in there and now it is fine. Double click issues gone !!
The left button is a little stiff but better than having to use another mouse. Love this one.
