Okay, can someone please advise me on what exactly constitutes a "gaming keyboard?" I've seen regular keyboards with some sharp designs thrown on them and called a "gaming keyboard."
Do they mean it has extra programmable keys and slopware to stack on your already spyware laden PC? Because I've seen "gaming keyboards" without those and regular keyboards with them.
Do they mean it has a USB hub? Same story as above for the most part.
Backlighting? Same story.
"Gaming keyboard" means nothing when you're asking for a keyboard recommendation.
I think what a person
means by saying they want a "gaming keyboard" is they are looking for a keyboard with sharp / deepish plastic lines on the edges and bezel of the thing and as much logo feces attached as possible.
I think the other things such as "USB hubs," "audio extension capability," and software programmable keys should be addressed individually.
Now that I'm done *****ing, I'm going to help out, mechanical "gaming" keyboard:
