Need help with ordering from korean store
« on: Sat, 21 January 2012, 05:21:29 »
Hi there,
I found two korean online shops with Leopold - mx browns.

http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=pl&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.pl&sl=ko&tl=en&twu=1&u=http://www.iomania.co.kr/frontstore/Item/item_zoom.asp%3Fitem_num%3D1461%26catalog_num%3D103897%26mart_id%3Diomall%26level%3Dyes%26mother_catalog_num%3D103895&usg=ALkJrhhZVm86yMbMSsP7lzw4zuHIB9Dz1g

I believe these are brown swithes, but correct me if I am mistaken.

I need someone who knows a bit of Korean to confirm the switch type. Moreover I am only interested with English keycaps, not Korean/Chinese/Japanese, I need help with this too. AFAIK these stores do shipp to international destinations. As I am from Poland it's a key for me. I also need some help with it.
I'm very excited about this , because it's not much for Leopold keyboards. Google says it's ~$90.
Can anyone provide any hints ? It's really important for me :)

There is an easier way to buy from IOMania in Korea.  Just PM kant1971 or email him, David Han kant1971 *_at_* hitel *_dot_* net.  Myself and other folks here have purchased from him.  He is reliable and trustworthy.  Just mindful that shipping will be expensive.  It cost me $50 to ship a keyboard from South Korea to me in the USA.

Good luck.

both are brown (nonclick).
1st one doesn't state whether it is english only or not and the 2nd one states it is korean version.

Is it because of shipping?  If so, you could try buying a used keyboard from other members here on geekhack or on deskthority.net.  Maybe it would be cheaper to ship within Europe.  You could also check prices at thekeyboardco.com in UK.  Good luck.
