Firstly hi to all since im new here

Than to my problem:
Got a 3year old Das keyboard III that 2days ago has suddenly gone bad. Meaning space, num 1, num 4, down and delete keys dont do what are supposed to do but send ranom keys to my computer (space sometimes sends sleep button xD) or they send a random sequence of chars "\=g" etc. I suspect the microcontroller (or something on the pcb) is malfunctioning. Tried to connect it to ps/2 trough a usb->ps/2 adapter and it doesnt work at all.
So my question is do i have any hope of trying to repair it, since the switches seem to work perfectly fine, and it seems a waste to throw all that away?
And if there is some hope, where/how to start. I got some knowledge in microcontrollers and soldering but dont realy want to make a new keyboard pcb from scratch
Thanks in advice for any help you might provide.
