If it didn't cost $60 for shipping and duties to Canada I'd be interested. :(
If anyone gets an otaku white and switches the original keycaps I'm looking for a blank, windowed scroll lock!
Layout: Colemak
Fastest typing speed: 131 WPM on typeracer, 136 WPM on 10fastfingers.
Daily driver: Filco Tenkeyless MX Brown with ergonomically weighted, lubed springs.
Ergo keyboards: Truly Ergonomic, Kinesis Advantage, Ergodox

The first mechanical keyboard I got was from EK and when I got hit by that $60 on top of the price of the keyboard, I pretty much decided to never buy a keyboard from a US retailer again. I've been getting my other ones from the classifieds where shipping is at the true cost and I can avoid duties by having it declared a certain way ($60 value gift).

They keep saying they aren't getting them but they sure keep having sales on the stock they have now.

Pure marketing tactic! Don't want anyone to stop buying what you have for sale now.

For the keycaps part, I got mine at around 10USD/55RMB(b4 ship). It included a full 87keys(2 windowed R4 and another windowed Caps Lock).

Tempting.

I'm concerned about the mini-usb connector. I want something that could last a decade or more, that seems like a weak point.

RSI prevention recipe:[/B] Kinesis Contoured, Colemak layout, touch typing, Contour Design Rollermouse,  Logitech TrackMan Wheel, Logitech m570 trackball, "workrave" break timer software, "awesome" window manager, tenkeyless boards, cherry browns, Wang 724 with "ghetto green" ALPS, standing desk and/or comfy adjustable chairs, stress reduction, computer time reduction.

Fun non-ergonomic things: bolt modded Model M Space Saving Keyboards with new springs, Kensington Expert Mouse v7, Unicomp Endurapro, Northgates

Visit my review on Keycool87(in review sub-forum), it should be quite easily fix-able if it ever gone faulty(mechanically).

My shipping to Canada cost $30. Are you talking about the 3-5 day shipping?

did you use USPS or EMS shipping? I've never been charged anything when using USPS.
