My friend thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to compromise and buy this cheap board off Ebay. Bad move. It has rubbish keycaps that easily come off when typing and wobble lots, as well as a horrible rubber coating on the WASD keys. It uses a proprietary mechanical switch so you have little hope in changing the caps, and several of the keys got stuck regularly. It could be useful for parts but do not expect to enjoy typing on one of these.

In conclusion - you get what you pay for.
