What about looking at the Coolermaster Rapid keyboards, they do have media keys, both left and right start, able to disable both windows keys aswell.

From what I could read in the description it may be cherry black switches. I know they do them in Blue, Black, Red and Brown. I personally have 1 blue and 1 red switch as I do have many brown switched keyboards besides in Australia we can't get access to the brown ones atm.

Also, if you end up not wanting the CM for whatever reason, AutoHotKey is the software solution you're looking for to do hotkey stuff in Windows.  Here's my post in the GH thread about AHK which is a media key script for Win7.  There are a couple simpler media key scripts in that thread too, but they're basically just key substitutions.

Anyone tried both the Filco and the Quickfire? Just wonder if there is a big difference in quality

Built by the same OEM, most of the parts are the same... keycaps and case are different, the controller has a slight variation.  Detachable USB vs permanent cable... There's really not much room for quality differentiation.  Also buried in a thread around here is someone stating that with identical switches in both boards he couldn't tell which was which.
