Quickfire and Leopold w/ Reds
« on: Thu, 23 February 2012, 18:20:18 »
I'm new to mechanical keyboards and i got a Leopold w/ reds and a Quickfire w/ blues.

My first impression with Leo: Here
This is my 2nd day with them.

So after trying QF w/ blues it seems "easier on the fingers", which can't be. What i mean is i find Leo w/ reds heavy to just light touch. From a stand still state the Leo requires a little more pressure before starting to move, like they are more firmly placed or pressurized while the Quickfire with blues is a little more loose. I hope it easy to understand my point.

I was considering getting QF with reds to see if it would be lighter than Leopolds due to different keycaps or building, but maybe i should look for browns.

Anyone else who have tried Leo and Quickfire w/ reds and could report back?

Also, I thought it was crazy most users here have so many keyboards and here i am.

I've tried reds on a couple boards (Rosewill and Leopold) but didn't think the difference was really noticeable, except on wider keys (stabilizers).  There's a pretty big difference between reds and browns though.
