Raising keycap height.

So I recently bought some keycaps from a group buy and they sit about 1-2mm lower then the rest on my board.
I can feel it (believe it or not) and it is really bugging me.
Is there a way to boost a keycap up a bit?
Thanks,

If you have an extra key to sacrifice, you can cut a bit off a stem and add a spacer ring to these.
Some of the kinesis guys have done this to get the thumb keys to work out.

In my defence this post is after I ordered the keys I am referring to.
Could try some surgery I guess... thanks.
