I want one just to use as an extra monitor or VNC client. I'll wait for the full sized Retina display or retina-iMac though...

Hahahahaha - I remember Microsoft telling that with Vista's voice recognition.

If they can do voice recognition, surely they can tell what key I'm pushing on a buckling spring by the sound it makes. :)

That's my picture of the Counterstrike keycaps, taken with some old Sony point and shoot that I borrowed, not an iPhone.

This was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S2 with low lighting. Iphone camera is good, but the competition isn't bad either.

Anyway, the problem is with people not knowing how to take pictures rather than the hardware.

I've used an iPad for sketching on - but didn't like it, even with alias sketchbook pro. Until it has wacom-like pressure sensitivity it will be little more than a digital magazine with interactivity for me. Maybe an interesting platform for mobile games etc... but yeah, I'm still not sold.

Just letting you know. iPhone camera is not that bad, in the right hands. I remember some fashion photographer did some shoots with one. Turned out just as good as any other consumer level digital would have. They are pretty good considering the camera is only an add on feature, as most won't be buying one to use as it's primary purpose. Seem to be just as good as any other point and shoot in the same MP range.

yeah it has to be in the right hands, because all my pictures turn out looking like **** lol.

im also surprised no siri.

lets see what apple comes up with, with their new iphone since my contract for my iphone 4 is up this year

I like to see last minute rumors that end up coming out in the next release.

So maybe haptic screens and the ability to join multiple displays by 2013? Let's place our bets.

I always thought Apple lacked in cell phone cameras. Most of my pics on this site are from my HTC Thunderbolt.




Works for now until I get a macro lens on my camera ;-)

Ripster you have a Gigabyte motherboard right? Check to see if your motherboard has special charging drivers/software.

The iPad needs 10W of juice to charge when plugged into a USB port, most newer motherboards support higher watts via the USB ports. If not it will charge "slowly" when it's turned off and plugged in.

Glad I could help,

I really miss my iPad 2 right now. Waiting for a certain store to start carrying the new 64gb iPad on their website so I can use a family members discount.
