Wow, Razer Blade, really?
« on: Fri, 16 March 2012, 02:21:05 »
Guys seen what Razer Blade has to offer in terms of the specs? dual core i7 and 128bit version of GT555M. I thought Alienware is OP enough, but Razer just has to top it many times over...

Alienware computers are a ripoff.
Razer's stuff will be the same.

Trust me. I have lost 4.5K on this.

Since when isn't something from an already premium (yet cheap for the most part) gaming company overrated? This isn't exactly news.

Based on the size of it, I can almost guarantee you are going to have heat issues.

Not necessarily. The LG P330 has the same specs but is practically half the size and it has no heat issues. It all depends on how much work Razer put into the cooling system.

Razer and WORK in ONE sentence? That's like saying upgrade/new features and iPad 3 in one sentence.
On the topic, one of my friends' brothers got one of these. I think it looks sleek, but all Razer stuff looks sleek, contrary to how it preforms though. I would much rather have a gamepad that was just what makes the Blade (that LCD screen and macro thing on the right) what it is. The rest of the laptop I could do without, I could do without the gamerpad too, but it would be a much better move for me to get a $100 gamepad than a $3,000 laptop if I was to invest in Razer again. Good luck to them.

I remember reading that Razer bought out an ODM to make the blade. So I assume the ODM people can do all the work for Razer.

If you want the gamepad though, I know the KOTOR keyboard has it. It's $250 and scissors switches though. I'll just stick with my mouse and topre for that price.

Not really. The ones with QM at the end of the model number are hyperthreaded quad cores.
