I got a mini USB stick for my HHKB PRO 2 but due to some weird reason it says that theres not enough power for the connected device?
Hows this possible? Its only an usb stick.
Also got a bigger/older USB stick that does work

What is the HHKB plugged into? If its an iPad there isn't even enough power for the keyboard! ;-P
Also, note that HHKB Integrated USB 2.0/1.1 Hub (Current supply limited to 100mA). Your thumb drive probably draws more than 100mA.

I had the same experience when I plugged a USB stick into mine. :-(

Integrated USB 2.0/1.1 Hub (Current supply limited to 100mA)
How much current do the Happy Hacking Keyboards draw?
Maximum: 100mA Actual: 30mA
How much current do the Happy Hacking Keyboards Lite2 support on the USB downstream port?
[Downstream of HHKB Lite2(USB)]supports 100mA.

The stick states to be compatible with USB 1.1
Meh, just sending it back.

Yea. It's just how it is. Most usb sticks probably won't work. Some mice don't work either because there isn't enough power. For example, deathadder is okay, but xai and sensei don't work.

yeah, it's the amount of power the HHKB sends to those ports. It's enough to power my trackball, but devices that draw more power, or require "charging", the HHKB doesn't give it enough juice. Definitely lame.

I've overclocked USB ports, but only the frequency.
I'm not sure if its even possible, according to captain the hub only provides 100mA.
Honestly its not HHKB to blame, wikipedia states "
A device may draw a
maximum of 5 unit loads (500 mA)
from a port in USB 2.0"
