Or should I ask the person for other pictures where type# etc. is visible?

I think most likely MX Blacks, but best to ask what the model number is. You'd want it to be G80-something (11900, IIRC).

Yup. It's a G80-11900 and it comes with Cherry MX black.
I mod mine to mainly brown and some to blue.
