Trade White Filco MJ2 (Blues) for HHKB Pro 2 + $100 cash
Hi everyone.
I have a Filco MJ2 TKL, Printed, White, Like New, just a week or so use to evaluate before switching over to the Realforce and not looking back. I purchased this keyboard as part of Sherryton's group buy. Probably cost me a total of around $180, but I realize that they're probably only around $150 new now, but at the time, they were harder to come by, and exchange rates weren't so great.
I would like to trade this keyboard for a "Like new" HHKB Pro 2 Printed, White. I love my RF TKL 45g, and would like a more portable version for use "on the go". I'm guessing if you're considering this trade, you've bought HHKB Pro 2 and decided the layout wasn't for you.
"Like new" for me means no visible wear and clean (no detritus). I didn't really use the Filco that much, but when I did use it it was in a clean, office environment. I used to put the plastic cover on it, and before I packed it up I wiped it down and did a quick pass with the vacuum cleaner just clean out any dust that was easily removable using that method. Looking for a similar quality HHKB Pro 2.
Based on what I see in the forum,
similar trades have been proposed at $100 premium. (Bitmap was looking for a similar trade, but his HHKB Pro 2 is black and I'd prefer a white one)
I'm holding out hope for a HHKB Pro 3 with some arrow keys someday, and a longer spacebar than the JP version currently available. This trade would serve to hold me over until that day (which may never come). Hopefully someone's looking to trade their sitting-unused keyboard for my sitting-unused one, rather than having both collect dust! I prefer the trade over a straight sale, because I don't think I'd really want to buy the current version new at full price, and if I sold it now and waited for a new model, who knows where that cash would wind up before then.
I don't have much feedback here (2), but I do have 100% here and 100% on eBay. Would ask for someone of similar feedback history. No "zeros"
