I'm trying to make some keycaps of my own, and I use polyester for my first attempt. So, how about you?

I'm set to try some in ABS as I have a friend who knows how to/has the setup to work with that material.

Do you have 3D base meshes for keycaps? I haven't been able to find any.

3D-based as in a mesh made with a program like Blender, 3DS Max, or Maya?
