Aluminum Poker Case - Brushed Blue

I've got an aluminum case coming from this group buy:

http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?29356-ANODIZING-for-aluminum-poker-cases

It should have both the insert and the case brushed and anodized in blue. When the project is finished you would have to pay the balance of the fees to oneproduct for the anodizing and for the cost of shipping to you. I'm just trying to get what I put into it back out so $80 and it is yours.

How much would the other fees be? I tried to go to sleep, couldn't do it.

The original quote for the anodizing was a total of $19.

According to this post shipping is going to be around $20:

http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?29356-ANODIZING-for-aluminum-poker-cases&p=584141&viewfull=1#post584141

Although IIRC some of those costs will be covered by the original payment of $82.62 because I believe there was no tax on the cases as he originally expected. There might have been a change in materials fees too.

effing anodizers... glws dude

annoyingly, even though they're taking for-freaking-ever, these are going to look really really good when they're done.

I think it has taken longer for them to be anodized than it was to produce them.

Another query, you say brushed blue, but the form oneproduct is using says polished. Is it brushed or polished?

seriously. it took longer to design and produce these than it has for them to move down the line at the finisher's. oh well. stuff happens, and we are a small job for them without a hard deadline. we're also getting a sweetheart deal, so we can't complain that much.

It should have been finished already according to the multiple estimates given by the anodizing place. Oneproduct said he sent them an email yesterday inquiring about the status.

Mine was originally going to be polished however when the pits became a possibility with that finishing process I switched to brushed. There was a second spreadsheet that was more organized and is linked to in the first post that has the correct process for the finishing of the cases.

I currently don't have any Pokers or any other mechanical keyboards and am trying to raise money to replace the clutch in my car. I have sent an email to oneproduct to make sure that he is comfortable handling a transfer such as this as well as what information he would like.

You are aware that these were hand made cases and thus they are not going to have the level of perfection that the CNC'd cases have as well as the balance for the anodizing and shipping would need to be covered by you on top of the $80 I'm asking for?

Just want to make sure that there is no miscommunication about what I'm offering here. ;)

Hmmm... Well I can wait till you receive it that why you know if there are any imperfections with the case. And I'm currently looking for a poker.. it seems like blues are always out of reach for me.

That is part of what I'm trying to avoid as then I'm going to either keep the case or increase the price since I will have then paid for it to be shipped to me instead of just transferring it to another member at which point it would shipped directly to them.

Oneproduct says he's willing to refund what I paid and deal with another buyer directly for the case. Would cost you a little bit more in that scenario as I originally paid $82.62.
